PROVEN LABOR PROTECTION PLAN

For your convenience and peace of mind we offer Proven Installation Protection. This optional labor protection is available for purchase if your part purchase is installed by an ASE-certified repair shop and the installation requirements below are performed at time of installation, Proven Auto Parts will provide 36-Month Proven installation protection for an addition charge, subject to the terms, exclusions, general and specific limitations of our 36-Month Proven Installation Protection. (Labor reimbursements will be in accordance with the original installation hourly rate and labor hours incurred not to exceed the amount of coverage purchased and not to exceed the applicable hours schedule for the work performed as published in the Mitchell Repair Manual or ALLDATA labor specifications at our discretion).

IMPORTANT ENGINE INSTALLATION INFORMATION

In order to maximize the life of your purchase and validate your 36-Month Limited Part Guarantee the installer must follow these procedures at the time of installation:

At the time of installation replace the following with new parts:

• Replace oil pan gasket and oil filter
• Replace front crankshaft and rear main seals
• Replace timing belt
• Replace water pump
• Replace thermostat
• Replace spark plugs
• Replace all fluids and refill to capacity

Failure to perform the above procedures will void your guarantee.

Proof of purchase, documentation of installation of all required items and the completed installation validation form are required to validate your 36-Month Unlimited Mileage Limited Part Guarantee. Maintenance receipts and other documentation will be requested as part of the guarantee claim process. Please be sure to retain all receipts for parts and labor incurred in the installation of your Proven Auto Part.

Purchaser must report all guaranty concerns to Proven Auto Parts CALL 877-882-7250. Failure to report a part failure and receive authorization from Proven Auto Parts for repairs or removal of the purchased part shall void the guarantee.

TRANSMISSION INSTALLATION INFORMATION

In order to maximize the life of your purchase and validate your 36-Month Limited Part Guarantee the installer must follow procedures at time of installation:

IMPORTANT TRANSMISSION INSTALLATION PROCEDURES:

• Filter and gasket must be replaced with new parts, unless not equipped
• Flush or replace cooler lines as per manufacturer’s specifications
• Replace clutch, related bearings and pressure plate (for manual transmissions)
• Replace input and output shaft seals
• Replace fluids and refill capacity
• Reset computer codes

Failure to perform the above procedures will void your guarantee.

TRANSMISSION COOLER FLUSHING INFORMATION

Metal, brass and clutch material from the previous transmission can become lodged in the transmission cooler and cooler lines of the vehicle.

Failure to properly flush these contaminants from the cooler and cooler lines will result in premature failure of the transmission.

Automatic transmission fluid returning from the cooler to the transmission not only helps to cool the transmission but also provides lubrication to the internal components of the transmission. Any restrictions in the cooler or cooler lines will result in damage to the transmission.

Please be sure that your mechanic either replaces or flushes the cooler and lines in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines. This includes the most current Technical Service Bulletins that may apply for the vehicle.
Failure to properly flush your cooler and cooler lines will void your transmission guarantee.
